Detectives Seek 3 Men in Sex Assault, Home Invasion

Deputies are searching for a man they believe stalked a woman, then broke into her house and assaulted her while her young child was present.

HOPE MILLS, N.C. — Cumberland County detectives were seeking a suspect and two persons of interest in an alleged sexual assault and home invasion.

Andre Gregory Jackson, 18, of 634 Hickory View Court, kicked in the front door of a woman's house off Elk Road on Feb. 3, investigators said. He then robbed and sexually assualted the woman while her 2-year-old child was present.

Investigators believe that Jackson stalked his victim before attacking her.

Jackson faces second-degree sexual offense charges and one count of first-degree burglary.

Jackson is known to frequent the Hope Mills area with two friends: Jason Antwan Miles, 18, and Anthony Wayne Carson, 19, both of 5516 Shady Pine Court in Hope Mills.

Detectives want to question Miles and Carson about this case.

Deputies warned that Jackson is considered extremely dangerous and urged people not to approach him or allow him into their homes.
