Deputy involved in crash on US 1 in Apex
The northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 1 in Apex were temporarily blocked Monday after an officer was involved in a crash.
Posted — UpdatedAPEX, N.C. — The northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 1 in Apex were temporarily blocked Monday after a deputy was involved in a crash.
The crash near Exit 96 for Ten Ten Road involved a marked Wake County Sheriff's Office car and a gray sedan.
The crash closed lanes around 6:30 a.m. By 7:30 a.m., lanes had reopened and the crash was moved onto the shoulder.
No major injuries were reported. A tow truck was removing the sedan from the road at 7:45 a.m.
