Deputies looking for man who plowed into children in Greenville on Halloween

— The Pitt County Sheriff's Office is asking for help locating a man who terrorized children on Halloween night.

According to officials, the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Misty Pines Road near Indian Wells Place in the Chicod community.

Officials said a man wearing a tiger onesie costume used a four-wheeler to drive full-speed at a group of children walking in the street. The man initially drove past the kids then turned around and drove straight toward them. 

The children had to run to avoid being hit, and one child was struck by the vehicle and seriously injured.

Deputies are looking for a white man in his late teens or early 20s who drives a dark-colored four-wheeler with chrome on the front.
