Carrboro, N.C. — Law enforcement officers are continuing to search for a man suspected of being involved in a Graham shooting on Monday night.
The man and a woman were involved in a chase that started in Alamance County and ended in Carrboro.
Deputies with the Alamance County Sheriff's Office tried to stop the car by doing a PIT maneuver, but it didn't work. Two sheriff deputies' cars were damaged in a crash while trying to stop the car, and both deputies were transported to the hospital.
The crash occurred in the area of Old Fayetteville Road between N.C. Highway 54 and Jones Ferry Road in Carrboro before 9:45 p.m.
According to officials, one deputy had “very minor injuries but is fine.”
Shortly after that, the suspects' car crashed. The man then jumped and ran, while the woman, who was in the passenger seat, was taken into custody.
Anyone with information on the chase is asked to call 911.
