Deputies identify man killed in Cumberland County neighborhood shooting

Cumberland County deputies have identified the man who died after a Fayetteville shooting on Saturday night.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Cumberland County deputies have identified the man who died after a Fayetteville shooting on Saturday night.

Deputies were called to the 3000 block of Spearfish Drive in Taylor's Creek Mobile Home Community for a report of a shooting, just after 11 p.m.

When they arrived, they found 36-year-old Daniel Christopher Sulton with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Deputies said the shooter left the shooting in a white, four-door car, possible a 2009-2013 Nissan Altima.
