Death at Durham hotel likely suicide
The death of a man shot at a Durham hotel Tuesday evening is being investigated as a suicide, police spokeswoman Kammie Michael said.

DURHAM, N.C. — The death of a man shot at a Durham hotel Tuesday evening is being investigated as a suicide, police spokeswoman Kammie Michael said.
The man was seriously wounded around 6:30 p.m. at the Crossland Economy Studios Hotel at 5008 N.C. Highway 55, police said. He was transported to Duke University Hospital, where he died.
The investigation was ongoing.
