Apex, N.C. — Davis Drive has been reopened after a commercial waste-management truck overturned near Farm Pond Road, north of Apex, early Monday.
State troopers said the truck was going north om Davis Drive when it ran onto a soft shoulder and overturned around 3:30 a.m.
No one was injured.
Troopers said Davis Drive was closed for about three hours.
A similar wreck happened at the same intersection April 13, when a Freightliner dump truck ran off the road. Troopers said the truck driver then over-corrected, causing his vehicle to overturn on top of a car.
The car's 25-year-old driver was trapped for nearly two hours before being extricated. Troopers charged the truck driver with reckless driving.
