RALEIGH, N.C. — Davie County resident Tim Trudgeon has been carving pumpkins for 30 years, and on Friday morning he used his expertise to create the "O'Fishel" pumpkin at the N.C. State Fair.

Trudgeon needed only 40 minutes to create a Greg Fishel pumpkin, complete with hair and glasses.

"When you're doing a figure and trying to make it look like somebody, it takes a little longer," Trudgeon said. "I used a fish filet knife."
