Damage done to restaurant after woman runs vehicle into it then hits another vehicle
Raleigh police said an elderly woman hit the wrong pedal and drove through the window of a restaurant on Friday.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police said an elderly woman hit the wrong pedal and drove through the window of a restaurant on Friday.
Officials were at Wingstop at 4531 New Bern Avenue in Raleigh. They said the woman hit the wrong pedal and sent her vehicle into the front window of the business. When she backed up, she hit another vehicle.
Nobody was injured and no charges were expected. Police tape was around the area that was damaged as people were cleaning up.
