The very first tour of Curious George Live! will stop in Raleigh's RBC Center Aug. 13 to Aug. 15 for five shows.

Tickets for the show, which start at $15 a piece, go on sale Monday.

This is the first original live musical stage production for Curious George, who was originally created in 1941 by Margret and H.A. Rey. In this show, the irrepressible little monkey is on a mission to help Chef Pisghetti save his restaurant by winning a world-famous meatball competition. With guidance from The Man with the Yellow Hat, George travels to Rome and The Golden Meatball Contest. As you can imagine, crazy hijinks ensue, along with music, dance and fun.

Showtimes are at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Aug. 13; 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Aug. 14; and 2 p.m. Aug. 15.
