Cumberland man robbed at gunpoint in front yard
Cumberland County authorities said Friday they are searching for two men who robbed a Fayetteville man at gunpoint as he stood in the front yard of his home on Thursday afternoon.
Posted — UpdatedCarlton Seymour Bogle, 57, told deputies that he was outside his house on the 2200 block of Yale Street at about 4:30 p.m. when two men approached to inquire about a car for sale. One of the men then pulled out a handgun and demanded that Bogle hand over all of his money, and the men fled with Bogle's wallet, authorities said.
The pair was last seen heading toward Carlos Avenue, where they jumped a fence bordering another homeowner’s property, authorities said.
Bogle wasn't injured during the robbery.
