Fayetteville, N.C. — A sheriff’s deputy was injured Thursday evening during a chase that started in Hope Mills and ended in Fayetteville.
The car the deputy had been chasing rammed into the cruiser on Canady and Seawell streets just before 8 p.m., authorities said.
The deputy was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The three people in the car were arrested, but authorities withheld their names.
It was not immediately known why the deputy began the chase.
