Cumberland assistant DA fired

Jonathan Strange, assistant district attorney, was dismissed because of reasons related to his conduct on the job.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A member of the Cumberland County District Attorney's Office was fired last week, authorities said.

Jonathan Strange, assistant district attorney, had been with the office for a little more than a year. He was dismissed because of reasons related to his conduct on the job, according to the Administrative Office of the Courts.

The D.A.'s office did not answer calls for additional details about Strange.
