Crews respond to Johnston County house fire
Fire crews responded to a house fire on Marcellus Way in Johnston County on Friday morning.
Posted — UpdatedCLAYTON, N.C. — Fire crews responded to a house fire on Marcellus Way in Johnston County on Friday morning.
The two-story home is in the Riverwood neighborhood within the Archer Lodge community.
No one was inside the home at the time. A 19-year-old neighbor spotted the fire and called 911.
The home continued to burn more than an hour after it was reported. Firefighters were evacuated from inside the home due to the heavy fire conditions.
The American Red Cross has been contacted to help two adults and two children.
