A woman and a teenage boy were shot at the Travel Lodge on Cedar Creek Rd in Fayetteville shortly after 10pm. Multiple police cars remain on scene. No suspect in custody. Investigation underway.

Greensboro police issued an Amber Alert on Thursday for Kayson Osiah Monk, 9 months, who is believed to be with Deon Lamar Monk, 23. Police did not say how the two are related.

Crews responded to a gas leak Friday evening at a Fayetteville Olive Garden. 

<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — Crews responded to a gas leak Friday evening at a Fayetteville Olive Garden. 

Units from the Fayetteville Fire Department evacuated the Olive Garden Restaurant at 234 N. McPherson Church Road while they searched for the leak. 

A short time later the restaurant was reopened and the leak was found. 

According to authorities a faulty gas meter was discovered and repaired by the gas company.
