Crews rescue cat from fire at Raleigh home

WRAL News witnessed the moment firefighters rescued a cat from a Raleigh home on Saturday night.

RALEIGH, N.C. — WRAL News witnessed the moment firefighters rescued a cat from a Raleigh home on Saturday night.

Before 10:45 p.m., firefighters responded to a home at 2729 Brookwood Drive.

Firefighters were seen carrying a white cat out of the home, and EMS responders were seen removing debris from its fur.

No injuries were reported, but the home appeared to be significantly damaged.

Garner and Fuquay-Varina fire departments also assisted.
