— Crews stayed on the scene for more than an hour after a fire broke out at a home in downtown Raleigh Sunday morning.

An alarm went out for the fire at 800 N. Bloodworth St., near East Franklin Street, at 6:49 a.m. Firefighters found a fire on the first floor of the two-story, 4,700-square-foot home when they arrived.

Multiple units from Raleigh and Wake Forest responded. They had extinguished the fire and cleared the scene by around 9 a.m.

No one was injured, police said. A report on the extent of damage was not immediately available.
