Crews fight fire beside middle school in Wake Forest
The Wake Forest Fire Department on Wednesday responded to a fire right beside Franklin Academy Middle School.

WAKE FOREST, N.C. — The Wake Forest Fire Department on Wednesday responded to a fire right beside Franklin Academy Middle School.
Firefighters responded to 1127 Chalk Road around 2 a.m.
In a Facebook post, the department said the fire was contained to a detached structure beside the school.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
