Credit union robbed in Durham

Police were searching for a man who robbed a State Employees Credit Union branch in Durham on Tuesday morning.

DURHAM, N.C. — Police were searching for a man who robbed a State Employees Credit Union branch in Durham on Tuesday morning.

A man brandishing a handgun went into the SECU at 1131 Slater Road at about 8:30 a.m. and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in a light-colored SUV, police said.

No one was injured in the robbery.
