RALEIGH, N.C. — The State Employees' Credit Union at 6408 Hilburn Ave. in Raleigh reopened with normal hours Friday as the search continues for the man who robbed it.

The man, wearing a camouflage jacket and with his face covered in duct tape, robbed the bank just before 5 p.m. on Thursday and fled on foot.

A massive search followed, including members of local and state law enforcement agencies with K9 units.

"Obviously, when you see police officers coming down the streets in droves with guns drawn and the dogs racing ahead, it's a little unnerving," resident Pam Long said.

"It's just scary to think it's right beside my house," Long said.
