A crash outside the main entrance at Wake Tech killed one person on Tuesday.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A crash outside the main entrance at Wake Tech Community College in Raleigh killed one person on Tuesday.

The fatal crash happened on what people say is a very busy U.S. Highway 401 packed with vehicles. Authorities said the driver of a big truck was stopped at the light near Wake Tech when a white van slammed into it.

Traffic was diverted from the area while the area was cleaned up and an investigation into the crash took place. Authorities did not release the name of the person who died.
