<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — A 17-year-old Cape Fear High School junior died Sunday night when his car collided with a tree on Hummingbird Place, the Highway Patrol said Monday

Devon Adam Guyer of 3831 Williford St., Fayetteville, was driving a Honda when he lost control of the car, troopers said. They said they believe Guyer was speeding at the time.

The accident happened about 9:22 p.m., police said.
