RALEIGH, N.C. — A crash with a Wake County Sheriff's car sent three people -- including a deputy -- to hospital on Friday.

One deputy was helping another deputy at a traffic stop. The deputy was driving from Prospect Avenue and crossed over South Saunders Street with his lights and sirens on when he was hit by a white Kia.

The driver of the Kia said they didn't see the deputy, and crashed.

The force of the impact sent both cars colliding into third car, a gold car, that was sitting at a stop sign.

The driver of the Kia, a child, and the deputy driving were all taken to the hospital. Charges have not been announced to the public because the crash was is still under investigation.
