<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — A crash that damaged power poles closed Geer Street in Durham Monday afternoon.

The road was closed between Mangum and Roxboro streets. Both lanes of North Roxboro Street were also closed at Geer Street.

Police said the roads were expected to be closed for several hours.

According to the Duke Energy outage map, there are no active outages in this area.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area if possible while police investigated.
