Crash closes I-95 near Rocky Mount

Rocky Mount, N.C. — A crash on Interstate-95 north of Rocky Mount could impact traffic for hours on Monday.
According to the N.C. Department of Transportation, a crash closed all lanes of I-95 South near Exit 145 for N.C. Highway 4 before 8:30 a.m.
The road reopened just before 4 p.m.
As a detour, motorists must:
- Take Exit 145 to merge onto N.C. 4
- Turn right onto N.C. 48
- Continue on N.C. 48 to Thomas A. Betts Parkway and turn right
- Continue on Thomas A. Betts Parkway to N.C. 43 and turn right
- Continue on N.C. 43 to re-access I-95 near Exit 141.
