RALEIGH, N.C. — The parking lot here at PNC Arena won't be as busy on Thursday as it has been in recent weeks.

The county won't be giving any vaccinations because of the threat of severe weather in central North Carolina.

Those with an appointment Thursday will have to wait until Friday to get their shot.

The county is increasing capacity for tomorrow's clinic to cover today's appointments and those previously scheduled for tomorrow.

Testing sites in Wake county are also closed today.

In Durham, there are a number of changes. Vaccination clinics there will be open today but only until 11:45 a.m.

The county says it's OK to come this morning if you have an appointment scheduled for Thursday afternoon. You can also reschedule for another day.
