Couple with 3 dogs escapes Chapel Hill house fire
A husband and wife and their three dogs escaped a house fire early Wednesday morning.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — A husband and wife and their three dogs escaped a house fire early Wednesday morning.
Firefighters responded to the home on New Hope Church Road before 4 a.m.
The family got outside safely but the home was significantly damaged in the fire, and the roof was completely burned.
At 8:30 a.m., firefighters were still inside the home extinguishing hot spots.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
