Chapel Hill police are looking for two suspects in a robbery that happened early Tuesday while Tar Heel fans celebrated the men’s basketball victory.

Police said a man and a woman abducted the victim from the 700 block of North Columbia Street. They forced the victim, who was not identified, to drive them to an ATM at the Sun Trust Bank on Dobbins Drive.

The suspects drove away in the victim’s dark blue 2000 Ford Explorer, with N.C. registration TND-8621. They were headed toward Durham on U.S. Highway 15/501.

Both suspects were described as black. The woman was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt. The man, who was caught on surveillance video at the ATM, appears to be between the ages of 25 and 35, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weigh about 180 pounds.

Anyone with information about the crime or the identity of the suspects is asked to call the Chapel Hill Police Department at 919-968-2760 or Crime Stoppers at 919-942-7515.
