FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Robeson County couple faces drug charges after allegedly leaving a bag filled with drugs and cash at the Cross Creek Mall food court, authorities said.

Billie Jo Ransom, 28, of 308 Wellons Road in Pembroke, and Arron Dean Revels, 23, of 368 Ronal Ave. in Lumberton, were charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana.

Investigators said the pair had been shopping at the mall and left a red-and-black tote bag under a table at the food court when they stopped for a bite to eat.

Mall employees found the bag and turned it over to the mall security office, which found more than 17 grams of crack cocaine, more than 100 grams of marijuana and thousands of dollars in cash inside, authorities said.

Ransom and Revels were arrested when they returned to the mall security desk to claim the lost property, authorities said.
