Couple killed in Wayne house fire
A man and his wife were killed Friday morning when fire engulfed their Wayne County mobile home, authorities said.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A man and his wife were killed Friday morning when fire engulfed their Wayne County mobile home, authorities said.
The fire at 1717 U.S. Highway 70 West was reported shortly after 9 a.m., and it was raging by the time firefighters arrived.
The man's body was found near the front door, while the woman was found near the back door, authorities said.
The identities of the victims haven't been released.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
