UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh celebrates another 'Code Rocky'

A "Code Rocky" is the notice called over the hospital public address system when a coronavirus patient is discharged. UNC REX nurses, doctors and other employees line the halls to clap, cheer and wish the patients well. It's a boost for patients and the staff during a challenging time. This one was to celebrate Nabil Lafi of Cary, who spent nearly a month in the hospital, mostly in ICU. Mr. Lafi's family was there to meet him at the entrance and take him home, including two grandchildren. (Video courtesy of Jonathan Rodriguez (UNC REX Healthcare))
