Traveling the world from home
An Arkansas mother used some major creativity to keep her family engaged and learning throughout quarantine.
the first week, Theo, first week of quarantine and I had to think and think fast. And I said, And I was just like Oh my gosh, what I'm going to do And so I had to be innovative. It was a sudden change that spark eras imagination. I'll combine their need for travel with money for decorating. And just like that, quarantine travels began the second week we were hit the role, traveling at our first destination. Tell me about all of the destinations. So each destination we really focused on where it was. Geographically, we've looked at the culture, the people, whether they wear the music, the food, the dance. And we incorporated that into crafts and activities. Kira's kids and family visited Rio de Janeiro, India, Mexico, Antarctica, Hawaii, Kenya, Japan and Paris. They were surprised. Each time I thought that they were gonna be like, Oh, we're here in another destination. But they were just excited. I was excited. What's it called for? Most A project like this would take some time. Believe it or not, this was done overnight, and so sometimes that was by a whim. Kira was resourceful. This is car board, but these are plants, fans and at the very top to give the illustration of the Taj Mahal or the Dawn part that is a hairdryer, making memories that will last a lifetime with quarantine. Traveling, they've learned about different places is people and, um, just saying that there's more to life, then where we live.
