With planned vendor pop-up markets canceled for the foreseeable future due to the coronavirus threat, a couple of online virtual markets are offering local vendors a chance to still sell their goods.

RALEIGH, N.C. — With planned vendor pop-up markets canceled for the foreseeable future due to the coronavirus threat, a couple of online virtual markets are offering local vendors a chance to still sell their goods.
The Raleigh Night Market and Raleigh DIY Punk Rock Flea Market have teamed up for the NC Virtual Artisan Market.
This virtual market will offer art, beauty, jewelry, food, home decor, crafts, accessories, books, candles and more. The website for the market isn't up yet, but more information can be found at on the event's Facebook page.

The market is expected to remain open until the in-person markets can resume operation.

The Pop-Up Raleigh vintage market was scheduled for March 21 at Trophy Brewing on Maywood was canceled, but shoppers can still make purchases online via the Pop-Up's first online-only market. Just go through the vendor list and click to shop. The online market will be open until March 31.
Other ways to support local retailers includes purchasing gift cards or ordering online.

Here are a few local businesses with deals or items to check out:

  • Craft Habit Raleigh - You can buy crafting kits online and pick them up either in-store on curbside. Call 984-200-4530 for more info.
  • Knack DIY Craft Studio - Offering to-go kits for kids and adults and curbside pickup
  • Phydeaux - Free, same-day delivery and curbside pickup are offered. Customers can place orders online or by phone.
  • Wine and Design Apex - $25 and $15 Take Home Paint Kits are available for purchase online. Curbside pick-up for those kits is available.
  • Vivid Memories by Gwen Photography - 20% off bookings on all of her packages
  • Vert & Vogue - Store is closed but you can shop online. After a virtual consultation, our stylists will curate a personalized online collection just for you.
  • Pittsboro Toys - Call with what you're looking for, and they will text or Facetime photos of ideas for curbside pickup. They will also email gift certificates.
  • Natural Choice - Place orders to pick up (near the new Apex HS) at NaturalChoiceLLC@gmail.com
  • Burke Brothers Hardware - A newly created drive-thru
  • Treasure Quest Mining - They are limited hours of service to allow for to-go order pick-ups, including take home mining kits. Take-home kits can be purchased online and delivered to your car curbside. Gift cards are also available.
  • Synergy Face and Body - They are operating truncated hours, and now offering curbside pick-up, and online savings. A portion of Synergy's gift card proceeds will go towards getting meals to kids in need now that public schools are out via No Kid Hungry
  • Killer Toffee - Free toffee delivery ($20 minimum order) within 12 miles of Cary.
  • WRAL's Kathryn Brown even shared a group of licensed electricians who are offering to help. "All in One Services" is offering to get supplies and groceries for people who need them with no delivery charge. They will pick it up and deliver it to you. Call 919-554-0967.
