Sheriffs in Halifax, Sampson counties say they will not enforce face mask order in NC
The sheriffs from Halifax and Sampson counties took to Facebook on Wednesday to say they will not enforce Gov. Roy Cooper's order that says face masks must be worn in public. The order goes into effect on Friday at 5 p.m.
