Sheetz has announced that they are extending their Kidz Meal Bagz program to all 600 locations and offering a free meal every day to children in need starting Thursday, April 16.

The Meal Bagz will be available while supplies last each day starting Thursday, April 16 for an unspecified amount of time. Keep in mind that there is a limited amount of kids meals that each store has to give away each day. Comments on their Facebook page indicate that the daily free meals are often claimed long before lunch.

Each meal includes a turkey sandwich, chips and a drink.

According to the company statement, "Families interested in taking advantage of the free Kidz Meal Bagz program should go to participating Sheetz locations and ask an employee at the register for a meal. Families will be offered one bag per child. Meals will be available daily while supplies last."

You can also get the free meal in the drive-thru so you do not have to bring the kids in to the stores, according to company responses on the Sheetz Facebook page.

“The spread of COVID-19 and subsequent school closures has left many children across the communities we serve without a reliable food source,” said Travis Sheetz, President & COO of Sheetz, Inc. “It is our hope Sheetz’s Kidz Meal Bagz program will make a small difference and provide nourishment to those in need during these uncertain times.”

The Kidz Meal Bagz program was originally available at 294 Sheetz locations in early April for two weeks.
