RALEIGH, N.C. — No visitors are allowed at a north Raleigh nursing home after the establishment reported a second outbreak of coronavirus.

The outbreak was reported Monday at Universal Healthcare, located at 5201 Clarks Fork Drive.

The number of cases was not announced, but the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services defines an outbreak as two or more people -- staff or residents -- testing positive for the virus.

Under a Nov. 3 order from the NCDHHS, some senior and health care facilities that record new outbreaks must not allow visitors for 28 days. Employees and residents are asked to social distance from others as much as possible.
