RALEIGH, N.C. — ‘Tis the season to be jolly and shop local, and we have your list! Tara Lynn is rounding up the best places to find local and one-of-a-kind gifts. Bonus: There’s no shipping to worry about! Check out this list of upcoming holiday markets!
  • When: Dec. 3, 4, 10, 11; All events are 5-9 p.m.
  • Where: Moore Square, Downtown Raleigh
  • What: Fun for adults and kids with visits from Santa 5-7 p.m. each night. Check out more than 50 local vendors, carriage rides, beer, wine, crafts for the kids and Carol-oke.

  • Where: Jim Graham Building, NC State Fairgrounds
  • What? SPREE! is an annual four-day fundraiser, showcasing dozens of juried unique local, regional and national exhibitors offering the latest in fashion and home decor, health and beauty products, specialty foods and holiday merchandise.

  • What: Local vendors and artists, live music and a food truck.

  • What: The Elf Market is The ArtsCenter’s annual holiday craft market which raises funds for The ArtsCenter’s Youth Education Scholarships. Vendors from Carrboro, Chapel Hill, and the Triangle area gather to sell handmade goods such as clothing, body products, food items, fine art, children’s toys, ceramic pieces and jewelry.

  • What: You'll find your favorite Slavic foods and baked goods, The Little German Band, the Vendor Village, and of course our European Market filled with unique gifts from across Europe.
