Finally: Garth Brooks playing on back-to-back nights in Charlotte after multiple COVID-19 cancellations

It's the moment fans have been waiting for -- Garth Brooks is finally coming to Charlotte.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — It's the moment fans have been waiting for -- Garth Brooks is coming to Charlotte for two shows on back-to-back nights.
Brooks had canceled his Sept. 25, 2021, show in the Queen City due to rising cases of COVID-19 across the country. The show at Bank of America Stadium had been postponed four times due to COVID-19 concerns.

Earlier, organizers announced the country superstar will play Bank of America Stadium on Saturday, July 16. It will be his first show at the venue, and his first time in Charlotte in 24 years. On Friday, Brooks' team announced another show for the previous night, Friday, July 15. Both shows begin at 7 p.m.

Tickets go on sale for both shows on March 25 at 10 a.m. Only eight tickets will be allowed per purchase.
Fans can buy tickets online, by calling Ticketmaster's Garth Brooks Line at 1-877-654-2784 or using the Ticketmaster app. The price for all tickets is $94.95.

According to a release, over 70,000 fans purchased tickets for the anticipated 2020 performance, and over 77 cities have set all-time attendance records for Brooks' concerts.
