Durham school hosts COVID-19 vaccine event for students, family members 5 and older

On Friday, Durham Public Schools is upping their efforts to gets kids vaccinated against COVID-19.

DURHAM, N.C. — On Friday, Durham Public Schools is upping their efforts to gets kids vaccinated against COVID-19.

A Pfizer vaccination event will take place at Brogden Middle School between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. for students and their family members. First and second doses and booster shots will be available, and anyone 5 and older can get a shot.

The event is free, and no ID is required. Online pre-registration is encouraged.
