Everyone. I'm meteorologist Peter Sherwood in the severe weather center, we have this area of low pressure that will continue to pull away from the US. Remember this is that same system that brought historic flooding across New York and it brought the clouds all week last week across our region, high pressure across the Ohio River Valley will continue to sink in and that will leave us with a lot of sunshine throughout the week and dry conditions. So our temperatures today are going to be mild, getting to 80 degrees for the afternoon. We are going to see sunshine. It's going to be a great day to get outside 80 degrees for the high. Today. Come tomorrow 82 it's going to be warmer due to a lot more sunshine that will build in and then 81 for Tuesday. Remember we should typically see temperatures around this time of the year in the upper seventies. Now with high pressure in control, it is going to allow us to see readings in the eighties all week long. But come Sunday, we could potentially see a big drop in our temperatures behind a cold front. Highs could potentially be in the sixties with morning temperatures down into the forties, a solid shot of cold air will likely take over as we take a look ahead of what to expect from October 8th through the 14th. This is next week. We are likely to see below normal temperatures around our region. So get ready for it soak in the eighties as we have them in place. If you love those cooler temperatures, it will soon move in. We are typically seeing temperatures in the upper seventies around this time of the year, especially for the beginning of October. And as we take a look at what we typically see for the month of October, we see big variations with our temperatures and by the end, temperatures should be in the upper sixties with morning readings in the forties. So 80 today, 57 for the low, waking up to cool temperatures again tomorrow morning, 82 for the afternoon, staying in the lower eighties all week long, we're going to be dry. All thanks to a high pressure system that will sink in. We do have rain again on Friday into Saturday and then behind it, a solid blasts of cooler air will move in where we could potentially see morning readings in the forties and afternoon highs in the sixties.
