Cooper could ease COVID-19 restrictions as early as Wednesday, according to source
A source close to Gov. Roy Cooper told WRAL News that an announcement easing COVID19 restrictions could be coming, as early as Wednesday.

AGAIN WE ARE TALKING ABOUT EASING RESTRICTIONS, NOT LIFTING RESTRICTIONS. SOME OF THE THINGS WE COULD HEAR FROM THE GOVERNOR PERHAPS AS EARLY AS TOMORROW, INCREASED CAPACITY AT HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE SPORTING EVENTS. OF COURSE SOME REPUBLICAN LAWMAKERS FILED A FLURRY OF BILLS TO TRY AND GET MORE PEOPLE IN STANDS. WE ARE EXPECTING TO HEAR SOMETHING FROM THE GOVERNOR ON THAT. IN ADDITION, WE CAN SEE EASING WHERE PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED TO ACTUALLY GO INSIDE AND SIT DOWN IN BARS. INDOOR SEATING IN BARS POTENTIALLY COULD BE ALLOWED IN COMING DAYS.
