Caught on camera: Wedding reception guests and staff blatantly go maskless and break COVID restrictions at an Illinois hotel
we're hearing from a band member who performed at this large wedding. He says that he felt completely unprotected, surrounded by a group off massless people who were at that wedding, and he has some serious concerns that he was exposed. I thought this was the craziest environment I've been in since the pandemic. Jeff Yang of freelance violinist, performed at the large wedding at the Hilton Chicago Northbrook. He was assured Cove in 19 safety measures would be in place. We're gonna have plexi glass to separate us in the guests, and we got there. There, basically none of that were the guests wearing mask that you saw very few. Some of the Children's were very, very few people are exclusive video of the wedding backs that up hugs, laughs and mostly massless. People were also seen eating inside despite the state's ban on indoor dining. It was just utter shock that at this point we have such hi deaths around the U. S. And Illinois that no one seems to be concerned about it. But the Cook County Health Department is concerned after seeing our story. Hundreds of people here no masks. The hotel will be cited and fined guests, staff and even band members asked to quarantine. I do see it as a potential super spreader event, so we will certainly wanna be putting out to the wedding party that they inform all of their guests that they need to be quarantining for 14 days. While I was important for you to say something conscious thing for a fellow man, I feel bad for the people that they were getting married. We should. I'm just be careful because this is no joke. The hotel releasing a statement tonight saying that the wedding was booked prior to the state's latest Cove in 19 mitigations. But they do regret holding the event, issuing an apology.
