Another new COVID-19 testing site opens in Wake County

Another free testing site opens in Wake County on Wednesday as North Carolina sees a record number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 and the highest rate of positive tests in the pandemic.

CARY, N.C. — Another free testing site opens in Wake County on Wednesday as North Carolina sees a record number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 and the highest rate of positive tests in the pandemic.
The site opens at Apex Community Park at 7 a.m. on Wednesday. It will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Pre-registration is required.
The park is the second new site to open in Wake County this week. On Monday, a new state-operated COVID-19 testing site opened at Highland Baptist Church, located at 8524 Crowder Road near Garner. The site also requires pre-registration.
