When you got your shot -- or shots -- the advice was clear: keep your card.
So, where is yours? Do you know?
The lines were long for a while but now appointments are wide open.
51% of adults across North Carolina are now fully vaccinated. Consumer Reports says the first thing you should do with your vaccination card is take pictures of both sides.
The most important info on the card is the drug and lot numbers.
“Those numbers allow the manufacturers to track where and when different batches were made, to better trace and coordinate a response if contamination or other problems are detected," said Kevin Loria, Consumer Reports health editor.
You can keep it in a clear plastic cover, but many say don't laminate it because a booster shot is still being discussed. Then store it with other important records.
“If you lose your card, don’t panic. Contact the location where you got your shot. They keep a record of everyone they have vaccinated," Loria said.

If you got it through a state-run clinic, contact the state. North Carolina has a COVID-19 vaccine portal where you can access your information and under the "my dashboard" tab, you can print it.
Perhaps even more reason to get your card soon, the state's lottery drawing.
The first of four chances to win one million dollars is next Wednesday, June 23.
A reminder-- anyone who's gotten at least one dose of vaccine since last December is automatically eligible for North Carolina's your shot lottery.
People vaccinated on or after Thursday will have two chances at each prize.
