We here at Go Ask Mom are excited to be a part of next month's CoolKidz Expo, which just announced additions to its entertainment line-up.

Over two days from April 17 to April 18, you'll see presentations from Busch Gardens, Kidsville Kids, comedy and magic shows, local authors and some great kids music.

They include:

Tri-Force Jump Rope of Morrisville, a performance jump rope team with two members who appeared on MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew: Season 5.”
Big Bang Boom, a power pop trio that writes and performs parent-friendly children’s music. Professional rockers Chuck Folds (younger brother of piano rocker Ben Folds), Steve Williard, and Eddie Walker will have your young rockers singing and dancing.
Magician Michael Creech and his breathtaking stage magic.
Comedian Ron Johnson, who blends comedy, magic and songs and involves the audience in his show.
Kidsville News! Showcase Central has everything from team exhibitions such as jump roping and basketball handling to Truman Dragon from Kidsville News.
Micah Lancaster will show off his skills with the Hoops City U Ball Handling Demo. Lancaster is executive director of basketball training at Hoops City U (Raleigh-Durham) and the lead trainer for Nike sponsored Ganon Baker Basketball Services, a basketball organization responsible for training over 15,000 players every year and working with the likes of Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.
Laughing Pizza is a real family band that makes original music for kids, parents and loved ones alike.
Busch Gardens will bring animals and lessons of the rainforest. Learn about conservation efforts and what can be done to protect the valuable creatures. Two shows each day.
Lunch Money brings its indie-rock music with songs all about roller coasters, giant cookies and getting dizzy. It's a high-energy music from a band with a growing following around the country.
G.W. Pierce and The Rusty Bucket Band will offer family-friendly music. Pierce is a Raleigh-based singer and songwriter who co-wrote and performed three songs on the soundtrack to The Rusty Bucket Kids.
And Donna Washington, the local award-winning author and storyteller, will entertain with stories.
