Cool, cloudy Memorial Day ahead of muggy, rainy week

After a cool, pleasant Memorial Day, the weather will begin warming up into the 80s, bringing humidity and potential for storms by mid-week.

After a warm, sunny weekend with a few thunderstorms, Memorial Day will be cloudy and cooler, with humidity and rain slated to return on Wednesday.

Monday morning temperatures were cool, with a low of around 63 degrees. The temperatures should remain pleasant throughout the day, with highs in the upper 70s.

Highs will be heating back up as the week progresses, with dew points increasing to create a muggy Wednesday and Thursday. By Thursday and Friday afternoon, the humidity could feel oppressive.

Expect warmer temperatures in the 80s and higher dew points bringing muggy days, as well as the potential for rain and thunderstorms beginning Wednesday and lasting through Sunday.
