Cook like the Pros: Learn to make Firehouse Macaroni Surprise
Capt. Blake Wright from the Northern Wake Fire Department shows us how to make this Tuesday night favorite at the firehouse.
some. My name is Blake, right on the captain in Northern Wait. Fire department. And I'm just gonna show you a couple of recipes that we fire up here at the firehouse. Firehouse. Chili macron is surprise. So the whole thing with macaroni surprises it was like a refrigerator clean out on the last day, but it's kind of evolved. So now what we do with macaroni surprise is sausage, hamburger? Uh, cheddar cheese soup, hot dogs, that kind of stuff. So when I made my mind, I try to throw in at least one whole hot dog. Whoever gets the hot dog, that's their surprise. I'm supposed to check in Booth. Can't vote against the wall is not spaghetti Mike. So another thing you throw in there, most people don't know how to really use a colander. Most people pour it in. You're really supposed to set it on top. Now what? You gotta tell everybody. This is a surprise. We keep one hole with surprise, but that was done. Count that was gone. As bad as you think it is for you gotta leave Greece in. That's what gives the flavor to the possible. All right, so now we get a good mix trucking the cheese, the mouth slap, your mama and hot sausage. Mike, you can't just add stuff to the recipe. That's my surprise. I see on just like that, it's that easy. Macron surprise. Just like the firehouse in North Carolina, 70% of all firefighters or volunteers. There's a shortage, and there's a place for everyone.
