<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A convicted sex offender and habitual felon is facing charges for raping a child.

Billy Williams, 49, of Raleigh was arrested Tuesday and charged with sexually molesting an 11-year-old girl.

Williams was convicted of similar charges in the early 1990s and sentenced to eight years in jail.

He was being held Tuesday afternoon at the Wake County Jail on a $2 million bond.
