Contractor destroys bathroom after homeowner fails to pay
A video going viral shows a Colorado contractor destroying his own work inside a home. The company says the homeowner didn't pay in a timely manner.
I sir, please stop, please stop. It's a contractor confrontation, not your house to destroy caught on camera. The moment a man decided to take matters into his own hands after his company says this contract quote went sour. Let me tell you something. No contractor in the state of colorado. We'll fix that when they found out I took it back because you refused to pay me. It actually cried about this yet. I think it just make amber truckee says she hired dream home remodels of colorado for some renovation work inside her home in Colorado springs. All that work now on the floor. I just shake my head because like I don't want I don't have the words for what happened in this room. Did you sign a contract at all with them invoices? Truckee showed us invoices saying she paid more than $3,000 of a $7500 bill. She says she was waiting to pay it all off until she could make sure she was happy with the work for the $3300 have already paid. I have now nothing. The company claims she signed a contract. They refused to give us any paperwork saying they would not share private information. They released this statement saying in part, communication broke down and resulted in our company repossessing a tile shower. It has never happened before. It is not something that is made regular practice on saturday truckee was at work when two workers showed up, her neighbor started recording, I entered in and I tried to reason with them a little bit. That's not taking back your stuff. That's that's our stuff. This is how you need to take it back. The damage is done. Drywall in the next room is cracked. Two came through the bathroom wall. The homeowner tells me she will take this to court. You don't go into someone's home, um, and destroy it.
