Durham, N.C. — The first meeting of the basketball season between Duke and UNC takes place Wednesday night at 9 and will air on WRAL-TV.
The Blue Devils (22-3, 9-3 ACC) are ranked No. 4 in the nation and should be ready for the raucous crowd after silencing a sellout Carrier Dome Saturday at Syracuse, 80-72.
They host a Tar Heel team that's slipping – to No. 15 in the AP poll and losing badly to Pitt on Saturday.
The Battle of the Blues means shifts for regular CBS primetime programming, including a two-hour episode of "The Mentalist."
Program changes
The first hour of the series finale of "The Mentalist" is scheduled to air at 8 p.m. on WRAL and on WRAL2 (over-the-air Ch. 5-2 or Time Warner Cable Ch. 1255). When the game begins, the second hour of "The Mentalist" will continue on WRAL2. For those with satellite and cable systems who can't get WRAL2, that second part will air Wednesday overnight (Thursday morning) at 2 a.m. on WRAL.
"Stalker" will follow, overnight at 3 a.m. on WRAL.
Delayed programming times are tentative and subject to change if the basketball game goes long. To be sure to get both programs in full, record from 2 a.m. until 5 a.m.
